Kade T. Huntsman, MD

Kade Huntsman, MD, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in treatment of the spine and practicing in Salt Lake City, Utah. Dr. Huntsman graduated from the University of Utah before receiving his medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School. He later completed residency and advanced spinal surgery training at the University Hospitals of Cleveland, including St. Luke's Medical Center.

Dr. Huntsman specializes in advanced, minimally invasive procedures that allow patients to recover faster. He uses the latest generation of high-tech robotic assistance during surgery which allows him to perform fusion surgeries far less invasively and with much more accuracy. Dr. Huntsman treats scoliosis, spine trauma, intricate spinal surgeries such as cervical spine disc replacements, lateral approaches to the lumbar spine, spinal fusion surgeries, microdiskectomy and decompression procedures for nerve roots. He also cares for degenerative conditions of the spine.

Dr. Huntsman believes in a comprehensive patient care program where he views himself as one of many team members in each patients overall health. Dr. Huntsman focuses on getting patients back to a functional level that they are comfortable and happy with, whether exclusively through conservative care or surgical care.

In his free time, Dr. Huntsman enjoys being outdoors with his family hiking, mountain biking, surfing, waterskiing, and wakeboarding. Dr. Huntsman is also an avid reader.
