Meet Dr. Rencher
Dr. Rencher’s Bio
Dr. Nathan Rencher is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon. He is a native of Idaho Falls and attended Idaho Falls High School. He was very active in high school sports and was a two-time Idaho State Champion in track. As a collegiate athlete at BYU he was a Mountain West Champion as well as a national contender in hurdles and relays.
After attending Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine, he completed his orthopaedic surgery residency in Ohio at Affinity Medical Center. With additional training in Sports Medicine during his fellowship at Beacon Orthopaedics, Dr. Rencher worked with every level of athlete including high school, and college, all the way to the professional Cincinnati Reds.
Dr. Rencher loves sports and outdoor activities. He is energized to be back in Idaho Falls which offers so many opportunities for both of those, as well as close proximity to his family and friends.
As an athlete himself, Dr. Rencher understands the sacrifices athletes go through and the desire to return as quickly as possible after an injury.

Shoulder: Biceps Tenodesis
