J. Ryan Taylor, MD, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon based in Utah County. His journey into medicine was ignited by a desire to aid others and fostered during his collegiate years as an athlete, where he played football for both Utah State University and the University of Utah. Following his undergraduate and master's degrees, Dr. Taylor pursued an orthopedic surgery residency at UC Davis, which laid the foundation for his subsequent fellowships. He completed a sports medicine fellowship in Los Angeles, focusing on minimally invasive procedures for musculoskeletal injuries, followed by a fellowship in complex shoulder and elbow reconstructive surgery in San Francisco.

Dr. Taylor's commitment to personalized care is evident in his practice, where he combines his firsthand understanding of athletic injuries with comprehensive medical training to optimize patient recovery and enhance their quality of life.

Outside of the clinic, he enjoys spending time with his wife and four children, following his favorite sports teams, traveling, and being involved in his church and community. He loves skiing, cycling, running, hiking, and fishing.
