Matt Nelson, DPT’s Bio

Matt specializes in trigger point dry needling, spine care, whiplash rehab, sports/baseball rehab, chronic pain, aquatic therapy, orthotic fitting, vestibular rehab, and post-operative rehab for shoulders, knees, and spines. He’s also a Titleist Performance Institute Medical 3 Certified golf screening/rehab instructor. A physical therapist from Santa Maria, CA, Matt earned his bachelor’s degree in kinesiology from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, and his DPT from Regis University in Denver, Colorado. He’s taught over 75 continuing education courses and was awarded Physical Therapist of the Year in 2014 for enabling trigger point dry-needling in Utah. Outside of work, Matt enjoys outdoor activities, sports, and spending time with his family.
